[EVA] Live Action Eva Movie

Well the movie will certainly be different from the original but I don't
see why that will automatically make it bad. Cross cultural
reinterpritations of great material emphasize the universal nature of the
core themes. For instance, Kurosawa's Shakespeare adaptations were some
of his best work. Naturally, EVA is a very different type of source
material to work with that allows for fewer liberties but I think there
are plenty of American directors who could make a great live action EVA movie.
