[EVA] New poster and manga info[spoilers for eps 18 and 19]

Hello, I'm Vertigo(Millions Vertigo Ambrosia Bluesummers), an insane fanfic 
writer/anime obsessee.
But enough of introductions, I'm really bad at them. What I wanted to talk 
about is the manga. Now, first of all, I want to say that, as far as I've 
seen, some volumes(1-4 and 7) are availible somewhat readily at Barnes and 
Nobles in New York.
Second thing: Some people believe that because of the plug suit appearing in 
the LCL in episode 20, despite the fact that Shinji was in his school 
clothes, means that the plug suit is Shinji. But in the manga, Shinji's 
clothes are in the plug, so this is just an error.
However, I don't really like the manga. Sandalphon, Mataeriel, Sahaquiel, 
Ireul, and Leliel are never brought up(Bardiel is referred to as the Eighth 
Angel), and Toji is killed instead of simply having an arm amputated.
Also, Kaji has a brother that died, and apparently, Rei fought Sachiel 
before Shinji did.
So, have any of you read the manga, and any thoughts?
