This is a interesting theory.  Were would you place Shinji and Auska then if 
Rei is fear?  Something that I find interesting is the idea that Shinji, Rei 
and Auska represent the three divisions of the human mind.  Ego, Super-ego 
and Id.  More of this could be found on http://neonparadox.cjb.net/.  At 
least, when the site comes up again I hope.  The site contained a PDF flie 
that explained the theory and also the idea of Rei representing thantos and 
Auska representing libido.  If anyone has a website with the essay on it, 
please refer me to it.
