[EVA] [FLCL] Commentary?

Yes, the Region 1 DVD from Synch-Point Productions
features a running commentary by creator/director
Kazuya Tsurumaki. There's a woman with him that kind
of asks questions when Tsurumaki begins to run out of
stuff to talk about when left to his own devices, so
this keeps the commentary very conversational. There
are a few silent spots, but that's to be expected -
and they don't last long.

It's a great commentary, and they have one for every
episode. AoDVD.com mentioned that they feel the Gainax
commentaries are the most interesting to listen to
based on Yamaga talking about Wings of Honneamise, and
  now Tsurumaki talking about FLCL. But I think the
only other anime with (Japanese) director commentary
is Utena: The Movie... Either way, listening to Kazuya
Tsurumaki talk about FLCL just made me more depressed
that Manga Ent. didn't get him to do a commentary for
The End of Evangelion :(

Combine the commentary, art gallery (promo art by
people like Sadamoto, not screen caps), reversible
covers that use the original Japanes art, and
incredible video/audio quality, and you've got on of
the best and most fan-pleasing DVDs released in the US
this year :)
