The fact is, a lot of stuff happened here, but it was a while ago. Those who
have joined after that, are logically bound to find it boring and feel like
moving things up a bit. But those who already have been there don't really feel
the need to rediscuss something already dealt with 2, 3...5 years ago.

Some of the best discussion can come from tangents, but there's no guarantee at
that when there's only tangents.
