And if you're using the lack of traffic in this ML as
an excuse to go off on tangents about fan-fics and
such, see the second part of that segment you quoted. 

Just because there's not much discussion here anymore
doesn't mean the ML policies no longer apply. Again -
in my opinion. I have no real authority to do anything
about it. I'm just pointing out that when this ML
*was* the premiere Evangelion discussion group, a
thread like this would have been nipped as soon as it
went off-topic, either officially by Tom - or
unofficially by other members requesting it be
dropped.

It's about quality over quantity.
