[EVA] 2nd Coming??

Somethiong that was said on the Animenation forums by one of the Admin:

Apparently Gainax has announed that they're going to make some sort of
public announcement about Evangelion in the February issue of Monthly Shonen
Ace-A manga magazine.

I've always subscribed to the belief that Eva is over and should stay that
way. However, Gainax is perhaps the most money-grubbin' anime studio in
Japan, so I wouldn't put it past them to revive Eva just because they know
they can make some extra bucks off it. Keep in mind that Gainax is the same
studio that was busted several years ago for tax evasion by stashing
millions of yen in cash in a safe deposit box. They're also the same studio
that released the Eva TV series on DVD in Japan in something like 3 or 4
different versions, including a "Broadcast version" that removed all the
footage that was added in for the first home video version.
