Is Kimouchi Warui delivered in the same tone?  I've heard the line, of
course, but I would only be able to give a ballpark statement on the tone. 
Of course, Gainax didn't replace Kimouchi Warui with a subtitle, as they
did in the video version of the Kitchen Scene (when Asuka says, "no").  I
suppose Miyamura could handle Kimouchi Warui...

Yes, I prefer "Kimouchi Warui" over the original line.  For some reason the
line "I'll be damned If I'm to be killed by the likes of you" is to me too
bitter...as if Asuka were implying that her affection was a trick-only a
way to keep her alive.  Which drains nearly all hope out of that scene.
