I read a fanfic that took place after EoE as well, where everyone was pretty 
much still alive, but Auska had a little girl that was her "love-child" with 
Shinji.  In the fanfic she basically raped him and got pregnant.  It's 
pretty screwed up when you read fanfics and then talk about what actually 
happened in Eva and the series/movies/fanfics start mingling together...
