The impression I got was that Amanda Winn Lee and Co were
directing/producing/acting in the dub and then passing it on to Manga
to distribute. From what I've heard previously they were doing it
as Gainjin Productions. I didn't mean to say ADV before, I just
still (at this point) associate all Eva dubs with them. Amanda wrote
the dub script for the movies this time (not Matt Greenfield, because
of course ADV isn't involved). I am surprised as well that, after
all the trouble involved with Manga getting the rights, they went
then handed "control" to an external company. Of course I am
sure they wanted to have the dub of the movies similar to the series
dub and thus would need the same actors so probably didn't have
much of a choice.
