That was a joke, so subtle you missed it. Ha!

I shudder to imagine the psycholgoical problems any of their offspring would
share. There was an EVA continuation fic that looked at the two of them
after End of EVA, assuming that this was the apocalypse and they are the
last two people on earth. They had several children together but those kids
all eventually suicided. Talk about a depressing fanfic! Had to watch a few
episodes of Excel Saga to get over the funk from that one.
