I don't own volume eight, the one in question. Since it's necessary I can go hunting for one on ebay, and then scan it in once I acquire it though. I agree with your actual point, that having scans of things like this that theoretically answer major questions about the series is important.

I did like that. It's easy to miss. However, given the fourth wall breaking element of EoE at that point it's hard to say whether it's a cute little easter egg or a secret clue that gives insight into the nature of the series. I mean, we get the scene filmed at a showing of Death and Rebirth too.

Yeah. It ended the emotional arc of the characters, but didn't bother resolving the series mythology. It didn't try and answer what the Angels are, or how an Evangelion works, or having Shinji discover Yui in the Eva, but just gave us Shinji having a personal epiphany after overcoming a suicidal depression.
The TV Ending just resolved the important stuff, the character arcs, and left the series mythology stuff hanging.
