Actually, I could believe that. The initials ('Yoshiyuki Sadamoto')
certainly are suggestive, although I don't know why the 11 (the only
anime ref that comes to mind is the movie _They Were Eleven_, which
while pretty good, I doubt Sadamoto has it in mind).
And you're right: I tracked down this website that has some
(http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/index?tags=ys11) and they are
remarkably like what I remember of Sadamoto's style from _Der Mond_.
They're a bit 'harsher' for lack of a better word, but still very
close, and none of them are *so* explicit that there would be
repercussions.
I doubt that we'll ever have proof - they could be a prank or homage -
but I'm willing to say better-than-even.
