I don't want to read your fanfic.
Were you ever even a fan of "Hideaki Anno's Evangelion" or some sort of wildly divergent fan fiction which might as well have been a different series, unrelated to the original?
Stop trying to convince yourself that because fanfic exists, it must be good.
After the ReVolution, we're going to scale it back so its only at the same level as Harry Potter or LOTR fanfiction is....at the moment, it seems like some wacky system whereby random people can write utterly contrived fanfic, slap the name "Evangelion" onto it, then get to walk around feeling like they were capable of making something on the same level as Eva.
Now all fanfiction isn't bad - I actually kind of like Eva R - but...were you just in this for the fanfiction? Because for years, I assumed you "knew things I didn't" about "Hideaki Anno's Evangelion"

If we're chiding you, it's because you're so obnoxiously condescending and
insulting to fan-works and the people who make them. If you behave like
that, people are going to tear you a new asshole. Welcome to the real
world, good luck ReVolutionizing it.
