[EVA] English dubbing for Rebuild 1.0

"Script" was a bad word, I meant "artistic vision" etc.  Yes, the English
dubs make a few mistakes; its the job of more experienced fans to help the
less experienced who only watch the English dubs and might not know this.
for example, in "Lord of the Rings", fansites were filled with lists of
things the movies changed from the books; thus, a fan who only saw the
movie and simply didn't have time to read the books (even though they
wanted to) could find an easy answer for the explanation "isn't it kind of
weird that there are Elves at Helm's Deep?" by simply asking at a fansite
and being told by more experienced fans "that's a major change from the
book; that's why it seems incongruent.  You're right to be confused".
Similarly, an Eva fan who only watched an English dub would be confounded
by the blatantly wrong translation in End of Eva when Misato explains to
Shinji the relationship between Adam, Lilith, Angels, and humans.   Now,
are we to...abandon, these fans?  Or should we help them out by explaining
to them what went wrong?  Shouldn't we be thus pushing for quality dubs
the next time around, to make sure such mistakes do not happen again?

Besides....the English dub cast for Ponyo on a Cliff was just announced
and surprise, surprise, its a bunch of A-list stars again (Matt Damon and
Tina Fey, Cate Blanchett...)  what if...FUNimation gets the Rebuild dub
license, and decides that "it's worth using A-list Hollywood actors,
because they are "Big Names" for Evangelion"....rather than even using
alternative, experienced English Anime VA's.  A scary possibility.
