While we did "see" Eva-02 in the preview at the end of Rebuild 1.0, it was
only a fleeting shot with the sun behind it, so we've never gotten a clear
look before. This is the first "real" pic.

>> originals)
>>
>> *The paint job is slightly different; the lower arms are white now

>> apparently a new design scheme in Rebuild, having the mid-torso plate be
>> a
>> different color (Eva-00 has a white strip there too, and for Eva-01 its
>> a
>> green stripe)
>>
>> *The body proportions are more like the "theatrical version" Eva-02 from
>> End of Eva; this is in keeping with how Eva-00 and Eva-01 have changed.
>> You see, Evas in the series have exaggerated shoulders and thin

>> basically
>> its as if you put your hands on the side of Eva-02's head and squashed

>>
>> *Rebuild-Unit-02 now has 8 (eight) nostrils, not four as in the

>> In the original series, the Evas usually have four nostrils, often
>> actually above the eyes. This was most clear on Eva-02 and Eva-03 (it
>> wasn't always animated into every shot for the others)
>>
>> *Those little armor frills at the base of the jaw, have now been

>>
>> *The "forearm fins" have been entirely changed. Normally, all of the

>> a large, squared-off blade of armor jutting out conspicuously from the
>> forearm; it doesn't even touch the elbow but extends from the base of
>> the
>> wrist like a straight edge.
>>
>> *Whether you need to speak German in order to make Eva-02 work properly
