[EVA] 1.01 DVD has movie script as extra

Been delving more into the extras on my LE set, so far disc 01.  It has 2 
Japanese audio tracks 2/2.0 & 3/2.1 - the latter comes across louder on 2 
speakers!

Nice menu, even has separate entry points for each company logo at the 
start, & there are quite a few chapter selections.

But the main extra feature is that the Japanese script is on the DVD. You go 
forward or back in single pages by pressing the right or left button 
respectively. Like a slide show.

No angles or subtitles unfortunately...

On 3rd watching, I still feel the warmth of the characters has mainly gone. 
Misato is snappier & more senior - like how she comes across in EoE.  Shinji 
is voiced very well by Megami Ogata - bit more boyish sounding.  Ritsuko & 
Kaworu sound the same.  Hikari sounds younger! - is her seiyuu still Iwao 
Junko?  Maya sounds a bit older too.

At the beginning the sea & harbour around Tokyo 3 (maybe all Japan is red, 
as only the Antarctic is in Eva TV).  There is also a white body outline 
"painted" on the surface.  Is that where Rei in 00 fell, or a previous 
angel?  If the latter, it might explain the renumbering.

1.01 is a well polished, fascinating work.  But like Patlabor 2 & 3 to 
Patlabor TV/OVA/movie 1 fans, its cold.  I hope 1.02 with Asuka will warm 
things up a lot - never thought I'd miss the egotistical brat so much! :)
