@Shinji accused Misato, his father & NERV of being underhand, tucked away
safe while he was in the front line fighting & facing the terror of piloting
Eva & fighting angels. MIsato's expression before she decided was
hesitation for a second, then she shrugged & took his hand. Perhaps she
thought, correctly, it was the only way to persuade Shinji to pilot Eva
again.
@There is no familiar scent, no indication anywhere in the movie, that there
are traces of Yui (apart maybe from the sub-conscious coach scene) anywhwere
in Shinji's memory or cognizance so far.

@So what is on Mars? Adam? Will Kaworu react differntly - if #24 is

@Good point. The JA episode was what I really missed & is my favourite
Misato episode of the early part as it demonstrated *her* bravery &
dedication to protect others through self sacrifice.

@Mari = Yui or a relative of hers &/or Gendou? Hair & glasses suggest
similarity with each/either.
