Hmmm. We know Rei III has powers & leaves a temporary angel footprint.
Is Kaworu included already?

Another theory, more general to Eva overall, is there a trapped & or 
"chained" angel inside 00?  One that got in somehow, as happened to Toji's 
Eva (04?), was "captured" but still causes the beserk reactions.

Well, going back to 1.0, the runaway JET robot that Gendou & Ritsuko had 
sabotaged, story has been cut out.  Although it doesn't contribute 
directly - the episode shows how totally unscrupulous those 2 are.  But most 
importantly, the story's omission for Misato's fan is disappointing.  Not 
only is it a good bonding for Shinji & Misato, but it shows for the first 
time that Misato is not just a boozy fun-loving, bossy, though 
sometimes-hard officer, but a very brave woman who values all human life & 
is prepared to risk her own to save others.  Not until EoE did we see Misato 
so directly hands-on again (although slapping decency into Ritsuko a couple 
times counts for some :) )

Misato is more serious, & slightly deeper voiced in 1.0.  IMO, she, like 
Shinji is as more a mixture of the Eva manga & Eva TV personalities.  Still 
my Kotono-san's good voice acting though.
