>So basically you don't do anything save bitch about people who come to do
>well... anything?

Well, no. See, I'd wager 98% of the members of this list are westerners, and
as a few of them reside in Japan, sometimes we get bits of information that
have never been released to outside Japan despite having been around for
years there. Now, Eva has been the eye of a storm of misinformation and
misinterpretation on the web since word of it first came out 11 years ago,
as far as the West is concerned. This list has been, and this is no baseless
flaunting, one of the few spots where discussion on the subject has tried to
stay true to the facts of the show as much as it could. It doesn't mean that
there hasn't been wild speculation at some point, it just means that it's
not the norm and we try not to do that as best as we can avoid it.
Bits of information as described above *still* happen to be revealed these
days, in fact just recently (well, six months ago) we were made aware of the
true role Sadamoto played in the making of Eva, and later on we were
provided with a translation and contextual information on the Evangelion
Kaibunsho, or the anonymous "j'accuse" about how Gainax had been developing
Eva and the movies according to an alleged former freelance (IIRC) who had
worked with the company. The former changes the view on the show in a pretty
radical way, from Anno's brainchild through and through to a work from
multiple inputs, while the latter reveals previously unknown details about
the way the public was perceiving Eva and what revolved around it at the
time when the series was just over and Death/Rebirth had just been received
(again, IIRC, I've been busy and haven't reread it carefully).

These are the things we care the most, the stuff that goes beyond "lolz Rei
iz hot". Another dear subject of ours is the manga by Sadamoto, misteriously
regarded by various outlets as an inferior product, in what appears to be a
case of mass blindness and soft fingertips, seeing as most of these people
don't seem to be able to scratch past the surface. Our kind member "M"
provides us with a free translation of the stages as soon as he can when
they're released, which is intended only for the sake of discussion.

>Any thoughts on Rebuild of Evangelion?

Yes, they are in the ML archives, there should be a few in the recent few
months. Like not to get my hopes up personally, so I'll either be pleasantly
surprised or, more likely, not unexpectedly disappointed.

>What ever did happen to EFML anyways?

Don't know, try google.
